FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Compliance, timeline, documents, and our role — answered.

Is this the official Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) website?
No. Index Bridge is an independent document-checking and filing service. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or otherwise connected to Dun & Bradstreet. The D-U-N-S® trademark belongs to D&B. To apply for a D-U-N-S® Number directly with D&B, visit dnb.com/duns-number.
Does your service issue the D-U-N-S® Number?
No. We check your documents, complete your filing, and submit it to Dun & Bradstreet on your behalf. The decision to issue the D-U-N-S® Number, the number itself, and the issuance timeline remain solely the authority of Dun & Bradstreet.
Do you charge for the D-U-N-S® Number itself?
No. Our fee covers our work as a document-checking and filing service — checking your documents, completing the Dun & Bradstreet application form, and submitting your filing. Any D-U-N-S® Number — its issuance, cost, and processing time — is decided solely by Dun & Bradstreet.
How long does the process take?
  • Our document check and filing preparation: typically 1–3 business days once we receive complete documents.
  • Dun & Bradstreet's review typically takes several weeks. This part is not under our control.
What documents are needed?
Business License, Trade License, and NID card are typically required for the Dun & Bradstreet application. TIN Certificate and BIN Certificate are optional but helpful. Documents must be in JPEG or PDF format.
How are sensitive documents handled?
Documents you send us are encrypted at rest with Fernet (AES-128 in CBC mode + HMAC-SHA256). Only authorised staff can decrypt for review. We retain documents only as long as needed to deliver the service and meet any statutory obligations. See our Privacy Policy for the full retention and access framework.
How does engagement start?
Reach our team via the contact page. We'll confirm scope, the documents we need from you, the fee, and the engagement terms before any filing work begins.
What payment methods do you accept?
SSLCommerz (Cards, bKash, Nagad, Rocket, Upay, Bank), direct bKash, and ShurjoPay are the supported payment gateways, all processing in BDT.
What happens if a filing is rejected by Dun & Bradstreet?
If Dun & Bradstreet raises any clarifying questions during their review, we forward them to you and help you respond — at no extra cost. We do not offer partial refunds. The service fee is refunded in full only when (a) the rejection is attributable to our fault or irresponsibility, and (b) you complied with all of your obligations under our Terms, this policy, and the document / information requests we made of you. In every other case, the fee is non-refundable. See the Refund Policy.
